I cannot decrypt anything for you, and I will never ask for a password, a key or the file itself. Encryption happens in your browser and nothing is stored on a server, so there is nothing on my side to look up or recover.

If someone claiming to be from this site asks for your password or key, it is not me.

The more of this you include, the faster it gets fixed:

• Your browser and version (for example Chrome 129, Safari 18) and your operating system.
• Whether you were encrypting or decrypting, a file or text, and which algorithm and key method.
• The approximate file size — problems often depend on size, not content.
• The exact error message, or a screenshot of it.

If you believe you have found a weakness in how files are encrypted, please email the details privately before publishing them, and I will fix it and credit you if you wish.

To exercise your rights under the GDPR — access, deletion, objection — write to the same address. The privacy policy explains what data exists in the first place, which is very little.
